Another specialty is the series of Film and Stage icon portraits of which Whitney is one. Others include Tine Turner, Prince, Cillian Murphy and David Attenborough.
It was the difficulty of displaying emotions in a hard medium like glass that directed me towards mosaic portraiture.

This mosaic is 600mm x 800mm and was produced as a commission. The 'treasure chest' incorporated found and given objects which reflected the person's memories. It is made from cermaic and glass terressae, glass pebbles, jewellery and ceramic objects. |

Larkin with Toads was a large scale, mass participation public art event that populated Hull with enormous decorated toads for 10 weeks during the summer of 2010.

The water feature sits in a quartered paradise garden and is fed by octagonal ponds at either end through shallow rills.
The Carrara marble is incised with Venetian handmade glass (smalti). The plain off-white pebble insets provide a frame the feature.
