Mermaid.<br />
This mosaic is 600mm x 800mm and was produced as a commission. The 'treasure chest' incorporated found and given objects which reflected the person's memories. It is made from cermaic and glass terressae, glass pebbles, jewellery and ceramic objects. |

This piece shows a sort of female utopia, she is at the peak of comfort and relaxation and bliss, however that is never long-lasting as eyes are surrounding her and watching her and judging her. I was influenced by Miatiie's cut outs and Picasso's blue period. |

Size 1m x 0.5m, this larger piece of wall art was commissioned to hang in a newly decorated master bedroom. I was given a mood board of colours, designs and textures and the freedom to go with the flow. The wall colours were a vibrant mustard yellow, so the mainly white artwork sat perfectly against this colour. |
