@dawnhandyart

With an early background in printmaking - lino, woodcuts and etchings - I have always sought to explore different and new mediums, building on my multi-disciplinary art practice. My work has been exhibited extensively since 1994. I've worked as an art tutor in some capacity since the mid 90s, running workshops and art courses. Having also worked in healthcare for over two decades, my role as an art tutor and artist, is informed by inclusivity and inspired me to ensure that I always work in a flexible and adaptable way. My quirky mosaics, murals, sculptures and prints can be seen in various exhibitions and locations across the South West of England. I have multiple solo exhibitions, group exhibitions and workshops on a regular basis. I'm a member of SAW (Somerset Art Works), the Yeovil Creatives (Yeovil Art Space), the South West Mosaic Artists and I'm the co-curator and Education Director of Guggleton Farm Arts, Stalbridge, Dorset - also known as 'The Gugg'.
