Nathalie designs and creates mosaics using a variety of mosaic disciplines which are suited to each individual project whether for an indoor or outdoor location.
Her love of working with different materials and combining these can be seen in her work. Bringing each particular project to life from the initial design consultation and a series of drawings/illustrations to further developing this into a final piece of work.
Each project is very different and often provides a new set of challenges to take into consideration. One of her most recent project involved creating a set of spheres, each one taking inspiration from the surrounding landscape and its colours. The largest sphere being 120 cm in diameter and weighing over 120 kilos did provide a logistical challenge to mosaic and also to transport to its final destination.
The design and development of each project is all part of the process and also helps develop her knowledge further in this field of work.
