My mosaic journey started over 20 years ago when one of my brothers bought me some on-glaze paints which you can paint of ceramic tiles and then 'fire' in a domestic oven,(before I moved on to using a more permanent technique) I loved the wonderful colours and patterns that I could create and they inspired me to try my hand at mosaic, I soon found that I loved it and started making mirror frames, as they seemed popular I kept going and I have developed my style over the years and now find myself commissioned to make some exciting works of art for people, including a kitchen stove, splash-back. I couldn't imagine a day without craft in some form or another, and am constantly spurred on by seeing other people's work throughout the year.
