Mosaic started as a hobby and it has basically taken over my life. I have been on different workshops and every time I learn something new. But that's the beauty of it. I feel I'm on a journey. I am constantly learning and trying new things. Nothing is static. I like working with different materials, usually on a small scale: glass tiles, beads, millefiori, broken pottery, sea glass, stained glass, buttons.... the list is endless. Such great fun! I simply love glass and its reflective quality (perhaps I was a magpie in my previous life). Observe a piece of mosaic from a different angle and the light will reflect on it in a different way changing the way it looks. My inspiration mainly comes from nature. I particularly like flowers and birds but I have tried other things too. This is a love story which will go on and on and on....:-)
