Debbie is a visual artist with over 14 years of experience of designing and producing mosaic installations commissioned for public, private and educational contexts. Debbie has worked with a range of clients to meet project objectives and make their ideas a reality, resulting in the creation of distinctive artwork. Creative workshops and design consultation can be also carried out, to ensure engagement and participation are integral to each artwork project.
At her studio, Debbie designs and produces her mosaics, often integrating participant artwork into the final design whether possible. Which is then transported and installed appropriately to each site. Resulting in the least disruption during installation. Debbie has an extensive record of working with architects, structural engineers, and other designers. Possessing an excellent track record of delivering commissions on budget and within given timescales.
Debbie’s work has been created for a wide range of projects and has exhibited internationally in China and New Zealand. Debbie’s studio practise has been based in Scotland for over four years, and has a studio space in Glasgow. Her most recent creation was a large mosaic sculpture which took the form of a life-sized lion called Clyde.
