Create a stunning pebble mosaic feature for your garden with multiple Gold winning Artist David James

Learn how to create a stunning pebble mosaic that will provide a talking point for your garden from David James of Olicana Mosaics. You will be taken through all the steps involved in creating a square or circular or shell shaped pebble mosaic measuring 45cm/18inch square or in diameter. This will weigh about 20kg (45 lb). Time will be given to discuss materials, methods, tools and techniques as dictated by the interests of the group and time available.

Tools, materials and are included in the cost. Hot and cold drinks will be provided, just bring your lunch.

This course is delivered in small groups from David's working workshop / studio in Ilkley.

David has a wealth of knowledge on the history, techniques and practical applications of mosaics from Byzantine to modern day techniques, which he is happy to share. He is very approachable and will give you all the help you need to make your mosaic.

David's clients include the Royal Horticultural Society, Sir Roy Strong’s garden at The Laskett, and Bettys in both Ilkley and York.
His work is featured in The English Garden magazine, The World of Interiors, The Telegraph, Country Life and Gardens Illustrated. David regularly exhibits at Chelsea Flower Show.
