After leaving a career in scientific research, Lynda has continued her love of experimentation with her use of found objects in her artwork, both natural and manmade. She takes her inspiration from her immediate environment; on walks or where she lives on an old farm in rural Gloucestershire. The colours, contrasts and textures of forgotten man-made structures and artefacts being reclaimed by nature are what capture her imagination. Her aim is to celebrate the beauty in the forgotten and overlooked.

After her career in research, she co-founded TomatoJack Arts in 2011 – a mosaic studio in Berkeley, Gloucestershire. She continues to expand and develop her practice by attending workshops and courses in many mediums in the UK and Internationally, recently embarking on an MA in Fine Arts.
