Sandra Groeneveld’s work in the arts started with her studies in drawing and sculpture. Her professional career began in corporate communications, creating artwork on computers. Later, after 14 years as an animator with Walt Disney Feature Animation, she unplugged and transitioned into the ancient medium of mosaic. The principles learned in her previous work of design, composition and storytelling are instilled into every project. She considers the environment into which a piece will be installed and creates a design that will blend harmoniously with the other elements of the space.
