I am a self-taught mosaic artist without any formal fine-art training. However, after developing my love of mosaics I undertook a course at Orsoni in Venice and another excellent one in 3D mosaic work with Luciana Notturni,Scuola Arte Del Mosaico, Ravenna, Italy. My mosaic work reflects my love of nature, other cultures, colour and texture which are derived from use of a wide variety of materials. I have been greatly influenced in my work by many of the great contemporary mosaic artists, but especially Guilio Menossi and Verdiano Marzi both of whom use colour and texture gorgeously. During the past 3 years I have been offered and accepted large and small commissions and regularly exhibit my work.
