Mosaic found me - a much requested art form by students, I finally gave in and taught myself how to mosaic. Hooked immediately, I joined BAMM and over the years enjoyed the benefits of learning from my peers. Having started, like many, using old kitchen tiles and colourful vitreous glass tesserae, I soon discovered stained glass, SMALTI and fused glass. I prefer to use the latter in my own work but still use vitreous glass in my community and mural projects.
