'Urban Bloom' is a mosaic mural in the public thoroughfare under a historic railway arch at SWG3 in Glasgow. The mosaic is made from Cesi frost proof tiles and sits on a rendered brick wall, framed by sand stone.

A 3D follow-up to my course with Luciana Notturni in Ravenna. Materials used were white marble, vitreous glass, millefiori and mother-of-pearl. The shell was hand-carved out of dense polystyrofoam. |

Having to travel frequently for my husband's medical treatments, I found using small vitreous tiles and a classic pattern made for a hotel-room-friendly project. I like how the bright colors transform the ancient Solomon's Knot motif. |

This is still one of my personal favourites. I quarried the slate from a hole in the ground close to my house in central Victoria, and split it down to paper thin slices. I laid these slices on edge to describe the impossibly fragile twiggy threads of this little wren's nest I found in my garden.

This feature is in a quiet area of a private estate. Created in lapis lazuli, jade, slate, pebbles and a range of semis precious materials.
